Gatlinburg SkyLift in Gatlinburg, Tennessee wants to take your thrills to new lengths with the creation of what is poised to become the longest known suspension bridge in the United States.
Gatlinburg SkyLift, a scenic chairlift in the Smoky Mountains that takes you 1,800-feet up to the top of Crockett Mountain, is owned by North American ski resort company Boynes Resort. Now, Gatlinburg SkyLift is planning to open a 680-foot pedestrian-only suspension bridge in spring 2019, as the Knoxville News Sentinel reports.
